Join our Open Access Marketing team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of impactful, innovative marketing campaigns driving journal awareness and manuscript submissions.

Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you will support delivery of a range of marketing activities, including content creation, social media, digital advertising, website updates, copywriting, and event support.

Responsibilities

  • Support campaign planning and execution, ensuring activities are delivered accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
  • Assist with internal and external communications, maintaining marketing resources and best‑practice documentation.
  • Contribute to campaign analysis and reporting, using metrics to inform continuous improvement.
  • Develop a strong understanding of academic publishing, open access, and researcher needs to create effective audience‑focused marketing journeys.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues and shared services teams across diverse locations and functions.
  • Prioritise activity in accordance with team goals and structured decision‑making processes.

Qualifications

  • Organised and proactive with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience or interest in digital marketing.
  • Ability to execute marketing plans, demonstrate proficiency in digital platforms, and improve based on analytics.
  • Strategic thinking about marketing channels and messages is desirable.
