The predicted salary is between 70000 - 70000 £ per year.

Salary up to £70,000 FTE DOE, plus a Welcome Bonus up to £5,000 and a Relocation Allowance up to £5,000. Our practice group consists of a dynamic team of 14.5 FTE Vets, with a mix of skills including an exotic specialist and certificate holders. We regularly hold clinical meetings to share knowledge and ideas and are committed to investing in new equipment to support best practice. There is a strong ethos of collaboration so you’ll always feel part of a larger team, even while working across multiple locations. The practices are located in North Northamptonshire. You will be based in Corby, Oundle or Thrapston – all offer excellent transport links, cultural heritage and a welcoming environment.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As Lead Veterinary Surgeon you will be the most senior veterinary clinician within the practice, responsible for leading clinical standards, governance and the delivery of outstanding patient and client care. You’ll provide clinical leadership to the veterinary team, oversee complex cases and act as the primary source of clinical guidance and decision‑making. Working closely with the senior practice leadership team you’ll support the strategic direction of the practice and drive continuous improvement in clinical quality, outcomes and ways of working.

  • A Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS with significant experience in small or mixed animal practice, with advanced surgical and medical capability.
  • Proven experience in mentoring, coaching and supporting veterinary colleagues.
