The role Oundle School is seeking an experienced Science Technician for its Chemistry and Physics department, to assist with the day to day running of the technical support and prep room at our state-of-the-art SciTec Centre. The purpose of the role is to assist with the day to day running of the technical support and prep room, and support the teaching of Chemistry. Oundle’s SciTec site unites Mathematics, Science, and Design, Engineering & Technology both physically and philosophically, enabling pupils to move seamlessly from theory to practice, and from pure science to the achievement of a workable technology.

Within the main SciTec building, there are Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics departments. Each one is staffed by subject specialist teachers and supported by professional and skilled technicians.

Hours: This role will be full time 40 hours per week, working 36.4 weeks and paid for 41.33 (To include entitlement to holiday pay). The specific hours of the role can be discussed at the interview.
