The Role
Oundle School Sports Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Swimming Teacher to join our dedicated team.
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire swimmers of all ages and abilities, delivering high-quality lessons that support progress, confidence and a lifelong love of the water.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons.
- Assess and track individual progress.
- Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, communication and customer care.
- Work closely with the Swimming Coordinator and wider team to ensure safe, enjoyable and effective sessions that meet award-level standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold ASA Level 2 or STA Full Qualification.
- Be confident, motivated and an excellent communicator.
Hours and Working Conditions
- Role 1: Variable hours, with the working week subject to change. Weekend availability required.
- Role 2: Part‑time hours with an agreed termly shift pattern (e.g., Monday 16:00-18:00; Saturday 09:00‑12:30; Sunday 09:00‑12:00). Shift schedules can vary but are currently scheduled during Swim School opening hours (weekday afternoons and evenings on Monday, Wednesday, Friday; weekend mornings).
