Flourish in your career by joining Oundle Primary CE School as a Teacher in September 2026! Whether you are embarking on your first steps into teaching, or are an experienced teacher looking for a new and rewarding challenge, it is vital to find the best match and school environment for you. At Oundle CE Primary, we believe we have a wonderful working environment to offer you!
Oundle CE Primary School is a warm and happy school with a great team of staff, polite and hardworking children, and supportive parents. On a large and inviting site, it makes a lovely working environment for you to excel in your career in teaching!
We are looking for two enthusiastic Teachers to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. At Oundle, we are proud to support our pupils to ‘be the best we can be.’ Following a successful Ofsted inspection in November 2023, inspectors reported that our three threads of ‘joy, kindness and resilience’ are ‘weaved throughout life at school.’ In doing so, we seek to enable all pupils, regardless of their starting points, to flourish as individuals and reach their full potential.
By learning to keep aspiring to ‘be the best they can be,’ our children achieve well and strive for more. This goal extends towards our staff too. We acknowledge and appreciate the hardworking passion that our community commits to our school, and our success is due in no small part to their dedication and professionalism. We support all staff with CPD, opportunities and training to ‘be the best they can be.’ Ofsted inspectors reported that ‘there is a calm yet excited feel around the school and the relationships between pupils and staff are highly respectful.’
If you are looking for a unique opportunity where you can flourish and reach your full potential while providing an outstanding education for our children, then we would love to hear from you! The successful candidate will encompass our passion for inclusivity, to ensure everyone has the support and tools required to reach their potential and flourish. Oundle is ‘particularly ambitious for those who are disadvantaged including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities’ (Ofsted 2023) and therefore we expect the successful candidate to share in this motivation.
We are looking for:
- Someone who supports the Christian ethos and inclusive nature of OPS and who works to embed these values with children, staff, governors, parents and the wider community;
- Someone who strives to improve outcomes for all children in their care and works closely with teams in school to provide information, support and interventions to ensure all children are successful;
- A teacher who makes learning fun, engaging and memorable;
- Someone who is reflective and continually seeks to improve their practice;
- A person who has excellent team skills who can inspire colleagues and children alike;
- A teacher who understands our children and our community and who is able to build supportive relationships with parents;
- An energetic individual who smiles often, challenges positively and drives change for the benefit of all.
