We would like to appoint a dedicated, flexible, skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across the school from September 2026.

Actual Salary: £21,544-£22,750

We need an HLTA who:

  • Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record
  • Is committed to high standards of attainment and behaviour
  • Has a flexible and supportive approach to changing demands
  • Works effectively as part of a skilled team
  • Is able to plan, prepare and assess own lessons
  • Has appropriate qualifications and experience

The post will include whole class teaching for PPA cover (including teaching PE, computing and Foundation subjects) and may involve teaching intervention groups in literacy (including RWI phonics, reading and writing) and mathematics. It will also include working in class to support the teaching staff. The role will also involve providing cover at short notice across the school.
