About Oulder Hill Leadership Academy
Oulder Hill Leadership Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16 year olds in Rochdale, which joined Star Academies in March 2022.
We are a rapidly improving school with high ambitions and expectations for all our pupils, as evidenced by our most recent Ofsted inspection in January 2025, when we were graded ‘Good’ in all four areas of the inspection framework.

Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils, committed to making a positive difference to young people's lives and to supporting and developing their learning.
Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils to help them succeed academically and personally.
- Deliver tuition in the subject to GCSE level.
- Explain concepts clearly and confidently.
- Manage behaviour in the classroom.
- Use up‑to‑date knowledge of the subject specification and assessments.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Ability to provide tuition on the subject to GCSE.
- Clear and confident explanation of concepts.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour.
- Knowledge of the latest specification and tests in the subject.
