About the school

Oulder Hill Leadership Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16 year olds in Rochdale, which joined Star Academies in March 2022. The school is rapidly improving, with high ambitions and expectations for all pupils, and was graded "Good" in all four areas of the Ofsted inspection framework in January 2025.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills.
  • You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across the school and the Star community.
  • Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.

Qualifications

  • A Levels or a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent.
  • Detailed knowledge of Health & Safety legislation as it relates to the work of a school.
  • Experience of keeping work records.
  • The ability to carry out risk assessments in relation to practical work.
  • The ability to effectively direct the work of a team.
