An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated radiographer to complement our friendly, social, and dynamic Radiology team here at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for you to further your clinical experience within the field of MSK imaging.
Main duties of the job
We are a busy orthopaedic radiology department carrying out all types of general and specialist examinations. All radiographers rotate to general x-ray, fluoroscopy and theatres. The band 6 radiographers also take a lead role within designated areas of the department and act as Duty Radiographer. Participation in our on-call rota for evenings and weekends is required.
As a senior radiographer, this role involves assisting the department superintendents with the supervision of staff and students, providing training, and you will encourage the highest professional and technical standards in all staff by personal example and constructive supervision.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
You should hold the appropriate BSc qualifications and experience in orthopaedic radiography. In addition, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team.
