OUBAS is a Lake District knitwear atelier and micro-factory creating small-batch knitwear in natural fibres.
Designed and made in Cumbria, our pieces reflect a deep connection to landscape, heritage, and modern luxury.
We are a founder-led brand entering a new phase of growth — gaining national recognition, expanding our direct-to-consumer community, and strengthening our presence across digital and physical touchpoints.
As we grow, we are investing in structured, commercially effective marketing that reflects the quality and integrity of what we do.
This is an opportunity to join a small, ambitious team at a pivotal moment.
You will work closely with the founder and gain first-hand insight into how a premium British brand is built, from campaign concept to launch, from studio to customer.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role supporting the day-to-day delivery of our marketing activity across strategic partnerships, organic social, email, paid channels, and content production.
You will help ensure campaigns are delivered consistently, thoughtfully and on time across all platforms.
This role suits someone organised, proactive and detail-oriented who enjoys both creative execution and analytical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Partners & Creator Campaign Management
- Research and identify aligned creators and brand partners
- Conduct outreach and manage communications
- Maintain influencer database and gifting tracker
- Brief creators clearly on messaging and deliverables
- Track when influencer content is posted
- Collect and organise content for reuse (organic, email, paid)
- Track performance and report on campaign outcomes
- 2. Content Creation & Asset Production
- Create innovative, cohesive branded content that tells a story and brings the OUBAS world to life across all touchpoints
- Support the creation of photo, video, and short form content for both organic and paid channels, with an understanding of how creative requirements differ
- Plan, schedule and publish content across Instagram and other organic channels
- Assist with monthly content calendars
- Write captions aligned with brand tone
- Capture simple product photography and short-form video content in studio
- Photograph new launches, detail shots and behind-the-scenes moments
- Edit basic imagery and video for social and email use
- Community management: responding to comments and DMs, tracking when Oubas is mentioned on social channels
- Monitor engagement and highlight trends or insights
- 3. Reporting & Marketing Operations
- Compile monthly marketing reports and join reflective progressive discussions
- Update ecommerce web content, including product pages and blogs
- Support new product launches and align marketing calendars
- Update website with product information including sizing
- Update our third-party ecommerce sites with new product
- Support PR outreach and sample coordination
- Assist at events or pop-ups if required
- What we’re looking for
- At least 2 years relevant marketing experience
- Comfortable shooting and editing simple studio content (not expecting a professional here, comfortable shooting on i Phone, with an eye for our aesthetic)
- Strong written communication skills
- Highly organised and detail-focused
- Confident using social media and understanding of creator culture
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and reporting
- Preferred but not essential: familiar with Klaviyo, Shopify and Meta Ads Manager
- You are commercially curious and wants to understand how marketing drives revenue
- Thinks in systems, not just tasks
- Values craft, quality and long-term brand building
- Self-starter who can work independently in a small team
- Genuine interest in heritage craftsmanship, sustainability, and regenerative fashion
- Understanding of the Lake District and its cultural heritage would be advantageous
As OUBAS expands its digital reach and revenue, there is clear scope for this role to evolve in responsibility, hours, and strategic input.
You will not simply assist but you will help shape how OUBAS shows up in the world.
For someone ambitious, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full marketing ecosystem of a premium British brand and company, working closely with the founder and seeing how campaigns directly translate into growth.
We are looking for someone who wants to build and grow with us this year.
This is a permanent salaried role. We are also open to considering freelance/contract arrangements for the right candidate.
This role is poised to grow and to expand into. As OUBAS grows, there is clear scope for expanded responsibility and progression.
Due to the volume of applications, it's not possible for us to contact all who apply, only successful candidates will be contacted.
