Were looking for a creative Social Media Manager to bring Ottolenghis digital presence to life. This role is responsible for capturing, planning, and implementing creative social strategies across platforms, ensuring each campaign resonates with our audience. Youll focus on increasing brand awareness, expanding our social network, and driving community engagement, all while generating fresh, innovative ideas that elevate our brands presence and connect with our followers.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow awareness, engagement, and community across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Lead the creation and development of engaging campaigns and creative content that aligns with Ottolenghis brand vision. Brief and collaborate with content creators to ensure high-quality, on-brand stills and video content optimized for each platform.
- Support content capture across Ottolenghi sites and events, contributing to the creation of stills and video content optimised for different platforms.
- Plan and maintain the social media calendar, ensuring consistent, timely posting while responding to trending topics and cultural moments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver engaging campaigns, promotions and partnerships.
- Stay across trends, tools and emerging platforms to keep Ottolenghis content fresh and relevant.
- Lead community management – engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely, brand-appropriate manner, fostering meaningful interactions and relationships.
- Monitor and analyse performance across platforms using analytics tools, providing insight and optimising content accordingly.
- Support content capture and coverage at events and launches.
What were looking for:
2 years experience in social media, ideally in food, hospitality, fashion or lifestyle
Proven ability to plan, produce and publish compelling content across multiple platforms
Confident in using tools like TikTok Studio, CapCut, and Instagram editing features (Adobe a plus)
A strong grasp of tone, trends, and what makes content resonate
Excellent writing and communication skills
Organised and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
Collaborative, proactive, and full of creative ideas
