As we prepare to expand our culinary family, we are seeking an experienced Pastry Head Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team and help bring fresh, inspired desserts to our Islington venue. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in an established kitchen, lead the pastry section, and collaborate on exciting new menu developments that reflect the spirit of Islington's community and Ottolenghi's signature flair.
As Pastry Head Chef at Ottolenghi Islington, you will be:
- Generous, kind and dedicated. At Ottolenghi Hampstead, we treat each other as we do our guests.
- Leading and managing the Pastry Team, ensuring a high standard of food preparation and presentation.
- When required, developing and designing cake with the Pastry Head Chef Group that reflect Ottolenghi's concept and values, incorporating seasonal ingredients.
- Organising and rotating stock meticulously. Ordering according to guidelines set forth by the Purchasing Team.
- Recruiting, training and developing the Pastry Team, including the monitoring of performance, coaching, and giving feedback.
