We are now looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Ottolenghi Richmond. This is a fantastic opportunity to create and oversee a kitchen from the very beginning, develop exciting menus, and help establish Ottolenghi's signature style in a brand-new location.
As the Head Chef at Ottolenghi Richmond, you'll be responsible for managing the kitchen, leading a talented team, and ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional dishes that reflect Ottolenghi's reputation. You'll have the opportunity to design menus, oversee kitchen operations, and ensure that every dish meets our high standards. This is a key leadership role that will play an essential part in the success of our new venue.
The Ideal Head Chef will:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Develop and design seasonal menus that reflect the Ottolenghi ethos of creativity, quality, and bold flavours
- Manage food costs, stock levels, and kitchen budgets
- Train, mentor, and develop junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and supportive working environment
- Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Be a strong communicator with excellent leadership skills
