Ottolenghi is a renowned group of restaurants and delis known for its vibrant, creative dishes and exceptional hospitality. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join us at our Islington venue on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of your section in a friendly kitchen, contribute to menu development, and help deliver the Ottolenghi experience.

As a Chef de Partie at Ottolenghi Islington, you will take charge of your section in the kitchen, ensuring every dish is prepared and presented to the highest standard. You’ll be working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the development of creative menus. This role involves cooking our à la carte menu, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of your section, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standard
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and development
  • Have excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Be a strong team player, with the ability to communicate and motivate others
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus on quality and consistency
  • Have experience in a similar role, ideally within a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen
