Otto James Consulting are excited to be working exclusively with a vibrant Salford based organisation to recruit an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant. The role is perfect for someone eager to develop their finance skills in a varied role where they will be responsible for a wide range of transactional and month end duties, as well as being keen to work within a fun and social environment.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be mentored and developed in a career defining role. This position will support your career development by building on your accounting fundamentals and taking them to the next stage.

Key Duties:

  • Client invoicing, administration, and month end reconciliation
  • Management Accounts Prep
  • Sales Ledger
  • Purchase ledger
  • Bank reconciliations, processing of payments and up to date bank records
  • Revenue reporting to the business i.e., sales results and client spend data
  • Distribution and processing of credit card statements
  • Commission calculations for research team
  • Maintenance of soft and hard finance filing systems

Your Profile

  • Previous experience of finance administration
  • Eager and enthusiastic in attitude
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with the wider business
