We are recruiting for a Plants Customer Service Assistant to work at Otter Garden Centre, Wincanton.

We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic person to join us in our Retail team, working primarily in the Plant department, and other areas when needed.

This is a part-time role, working 4 days a week, including Saturdays.

Requirements

Duties will include

  • Using the tills
  • Helping customers with product enquiries in both the plant and bedding plant departments
  • Ensure high standards of quality are maintained in the plant department
  • Work through deliveries as they arrive
  • Assist with stock control and stock ordering
  • Reviewing and relaying Seasonal layouts

The ideal candidate will

  • Be self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Be a strong team player
  • Have excellent customer service & communication skills
  • Able to work on your own using your initiative

Please note this role will involve heavy lifting.

Hours

This is a permanent part-time role (25 hours), working 4 days a week to include one day at the weekend.

  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 10am – 5pm
