Be part of a marketing team that helps shape one of the South West’s leading independent garden centre groups. We’re looking for a Marketing Executive who enjoys combining creativity with organisation to help deliver marketing campaigns that make a real difference. From creating inspiring seasonal campaigns to launching plant festivals, supporting our restaurants, and Christmas events, our marketing team does it all. We’re looking for a proactive Marketing Executive to join our friendly team and help deliver exciting campaigns across all eight garden centres. This is a fixed-term contract commencing on 21 September 2026 for 12 months.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Producing point of sale and promotional materials.
  • Managing website content and blogs.
  • Supporting social media and email marketing.
  • Coordinating promotional activity.
  • Working with external designers and suppliers.
  • Supporting branch retail teams and buyers.
  • Taking photography and video content.
  • Helping maintain Google Business Profiles and TripAdvisor listings.
  • Responding to customer enquiries.

What We’re Looking For

  • Marketing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisation.
  • Excellent written English.
  • Photoshop experience.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Photoshop knowledge.
  • WordPress or CMS experience (desirable).
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities.

Working at Otter

We’re a collaborative team who enjoy working together. Whilst everyone has key responsibilities, we also support one another across every area of the department. Flexibility and teamwork are a big part of how we work.

Hours

Full Time (39 hours per week). We will also consider applications from candidates seeking four days per week.
