We are looking for a friendly, positive and experienced Cafe Manager to lead the running of the kitchen team and front of house team here in our new Otter Garden Centre, Bristol restaurant, which operates day time only.

A leader with great managerial experience and a track record that shows success when managing in a busy hospitality environment under pressure.

Purpose of Role: To plan, organise and develop the food and drink offering of the restaurant at the centre, including food production, whilst meeting and exceeding the profitability of the business, customer expectations, food and hygiene standards and financial targets.

To train the team to deliver the company expected standards for a high level of customer service.

To set up clear communication to establish a happy productive team with good team spirit.

To train the team to achieve high standards in the kitchen and front of house.

To implement and follow through a clear and comprehensive induction for all staff through other team members.

Complete probationary review with all new staff after three months.

To work with management regarding all staff issues.

To carry out annual appraisals for all catering staff.

To ensure that there is always a high level of staff appearance, and to constantly monitor uniform standards.

To control the staff costs by overseeing the rotas for the restaurant.

This is a full time role working four week days and one weekend day per week.
