The Associate Director, National Sales Operations (LAI Franchise) is an experienced professional proficient in sales and leadership, capable of independent application with a strong understanding of sales strategies, business management, and pharmaceutical industry dynamics. The incumbent should possess excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills to drive sales performance and organizational success. This role reports to the Vice President, LAI Sales and Marketing Strategy.
The Associate Director serves as a connector between the Field Strategy and Operations Director and Brand Marketing to connect brand strategies and initiatives, data and operations with field execution and streamlined focused communications. The Associate Director is expected to develop a holistic view of the Sales and Marketing organization facilitating the pull through of brand strategy and enabling and supporting the Field Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to the VP, LAI Sales and Marketing Strategy and proactively collaborate with other leaders and cross-functional partners to develop, align and execute the LAI Strategic Plan.
- Develop and implement cross-functional initiatives and manage key projects for marketing or field sales in support of commercial strategy to drive growth, ensuring timely completion and alignment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the commercial team and other departments, including Field Strategy and Operations, Market Access, Patient Experience, Medical, Clinical, HR, Finance, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance.
- Identify opportunities to optimize efficiency and effectiveness between marketing strategy, field strategy and operations and sales execution.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and customer behaviour to inform commercial strategies and tactics, identify opportunity areas for process improvement and develop and implement innovative best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a management role, including managing direct reports in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful initiatives.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources.
- Balance humility with high expectations for self and passion for work.
- Strong learning agility, with proven ability to take on new opportunities and successfully navigate through ambiguity.
- Proactive and results-driven, with excellent organizational skills and presentation development/analytical capabilities.
- Ability to build relationships, influence others, cross collaborate and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to maintain objectivity and complete discretion with confidential information.
- Up to 25% travel is required, based upon business needs. This position is remote based.

Minimum $174,984.00 - Maximum $261,625.00, plus incentive opportunity. The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role.
