# CleanerUK Widefull time / part timeApply for this role## About the roleAs a Cleaner with OTRA Care Services, you will play a direct role in protecting health, comfort and dignity. You will maintain welcoming care environments to a consistently high standard, following infection-prevention procedures and paying close attention to the areas that matter most for safety.You will work methodically around the people using the service, adapting your approach so routines, privacy and independence are respected. The role suits someone who takes pride in reliable work, notices what others may miss and understands that a clean environment is an essential part of high-quality care.## What you will do* Clean and disinfect assigned rooms, bathrooms, shared areas and frequently touched surfaces to schedule.* Follow colour-coding, infection-control, COSHH and waste-disposal procedures.* Use cleaning products and equipment safely, reporting damage, hazards or low stock promptly.* Complete cleaning records accurately and support spot checks or quality audits.* Respond appropriately to spillages and additional cleaning priorities.* Work respectfully around individuals, visitors and care colleagues, protecting privacy at all times.* Help maintain an orderly, welcoming environment without obstructing care delivery.## What you will bring* A reliable, thorough approach and the ability to maintain standards without constant supervision.* Awareness of hygiene and infection prevention; care-setting or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.* Ability to follow written instructions, product guidance and safety procedures.* Respectful communication and discretion when working around people receiving care.* Physical ability to carry out routine cleaning duties safely and use the equipment provided.* Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and work cooperatively with the wider team.* The right to work in the UK and willingness to complete the required pre-employment checks and training. #J-18808-Ljbffr
