GYG Hendon is looking for enthusiastic and committed team members who love Mexican food and the vibrant Latin culture. This is a great opportunity for customer-focused individuals passionate about food and providing clients with a remarkable experience.

The Role: Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, Sales and Line crew members are responsible for:

  • Delivering pleasant and prompt service to customers
  • Preparing menu items according to GYG procedures
  • Maintaining complete knowledge of GYG menu items, ingredients, and procedures

To be successful in this role, you should have/be:

  • Advanced English skills (if non-native)
  • RSA certificate
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and capability of learning Point of Sales and EFTPOS machine operation
  • General understanding of Australian currency, payment methods, and loyalty cards
  • Outgoing and approachable personality
  • Patience and eagerness to help customers
  • Capability of maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised work station
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive, enthusiastic personality
  • Good communication skills and great ability to work as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and “always moving” attitude

Previous experience in customer service or food preparation will be regarded but is not essential. Having the right attitude is the key!
