The Role
You’ll be part of our central telesales team, working with both existing trade accounts and new prospects to drive weekly order volume and promotional uptake. This isn’t a call‑centre script job — it’s commercial sales. You’ll need to understand customer profiles, sell solutions, explain promotions, and confidently close orders over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound sales calls to retailers across the UK (minimum 100 calls per day and 90 minutes talk time).
- Hit and exceed weekly revenue targets and conversion KPIs.
- Build strong repeat relationships — ensuring customers order regularly and know current promotions.
- Confidently sell full product bays or solutions.
- Handle objections with confidence and convert hesitations into opportunities.
- Update and maintain accurate CRM records for all customer interactions.
- Follow up proactively to secure repeat and upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with After Sales and Operations to ensure smooth delivery and service.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success in telesales or account management, ideally in FMCG, wholesale, or convenience retail supply.
- A natural closer — persuasive, confident, and commercially minded.
