Job Description\\n\\nEscalator Engineer – Resident Site\\n\\nRole Overview\\nWould you like to join a truly international, talent driven company that values Safety, Ethics, Quality, Innovation and Employee Opportunity?\\n\\nOtis are currently seeking an experienced Escalator Service Engineer to join our London team\\n\\nAs a qualified Escalator Engineer you will be working on site for a high profile, prestigious client in London and expected to carry out 100% of the maintenance and service within your patch as well as any minor repairs\\n\\nOn a typical day you will:\\n\\n * Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units on site during the nights\\n\\n * Work within your defined geographical area managing the portfolio of elevators within it\\n\\n * Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix\\n\\n * Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation\\n\\n * Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship\\n\\nWhat you will need to be successful (adjust for local regulations)\\n• Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift/Escalator service, maintenance or repairs or significant experience in the service and maintenance of escalators.\\n\\n• You must be an experienced Escalator Engineer with in-depth knowledge of a variety of different brands of equipment\\n\\n• Flexibility is important, as night working and overtime maybe required.
