Role Overview

Otis is growing and is looking for a repairs engineer for one of our entities located in Essex/Hertfordshire. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.
On a typical day you will:
- Be responsible for carrying out repairs on a wide range of lifts across our portfolio.
- Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it.
- Oversee and competently carry out any repair work, aiming to achieve first time fix.
- Provide technical diagnostics and support for other engineers with minor repairs.
- Work efficiently and in a safe manner in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines.
- Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
What you will need to be successful:
- Qualified to or above NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in lift engineering.
- Hold a full UK drivers license.
- At least 48 months of experience in the elevator sector.
- Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
- A committed professional, with safety as your priority.
- Comfortable communicating to others.
- Curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
- Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
