Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for our entities located in the Glasgow region. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory.
  • Performing routine service checks on several units across the region, recording and escalating your findings to the field manager.
  • Reacting to sudden breakdowns, working with both passengers and the client to provide a technical solution to breakdown issues.

Requirements:

  • Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair.
  • Hold a UK driver's license.
  • Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
  • Curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
  • Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
