After a major new win, OTIS are looking to identify Trainee Escalator Engineers to support with routine maintenance on Escalators across the London underground system.
As a Trainee Escalator Engineer, you will be expected to:
- Work alongside a qualified Escalator Engineer
- Study towards completing your NVQ Level 3
- Help towards completing your Escalator NVQ
- Get involved with planning of engineering works
- Stay away overnight as and when required
You will train towards completing your NVQ Level 3 and develop all-round knowledge of escalator equipment to the point that you can work independently and demonstrate that you can apply escalator engineering principles.
We are interested in receiving applications from candidates with a demonstrable background in Engineering (NVQs, BTEC or similar) Lift/Escalator Mates / Improvers wishing to gain their NVQ Level 3.
