Lift Modernisation Engineer\\nSouth East UK\\nRole Overview\\nWould you like to join a truly international, talent driven company that values Safety, Ethics, Quality, Innovation and Employee Opportunity?\\nOtis is growing and is looking for a Modernisation Engineer to join our team in the South East UK. our priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely installing a portfolio of elevator units.\\nOn a typical day you will:\\n * Install new elevators with quality and efficiency.\\n * Work in a safe manner in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.\\n * Stay away overnight as and when required.\\n * Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship\\n * Conduct inspection before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards\\nWhat you will need to be successful\\n * As a qualified mechanic, it is essential that you have knowledge of elevator equipment and that you can apply elevator engineering principles to Installation.\\n * You are qualified to install elevators to the standards set in your country\\n * You hold a driver's license\\n * You have at least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, ideally acquired in the assembly activity or at least experience on site and / or installation\\n * You have good electrical and mechanical skills.\\n * You are comfortable with plan reading and calculations.\\n * You have an appetite for technical products and new technologies.\\n * You appreciate manual trades as well as the satisfaction of seeing the finished work.\\nWhat’s In it For Me / Benefits\\n * You will receive a long-term employment contract with the world market leader in a crisis-proof industry.\\n * We offer you remuneration in accordance with local standards plus:\\n * We will train you intensively in the areas of technology & processes and you can exchange ideas with experienced colleagues at any time.\\n * You will receive modern and high-quality work clothes, your own tools, an iPhone and a vehicle\\n * The health and safety of our employees is our top priority.
