Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for our entities located in the Glasgow region. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units. Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory.
On a typical day you will:
- Perform routine service checks on several units across the region, recording and escalating your findings to the field manager.
- Be the face of the business, often providing updates to clients around work carried out.
- React to sudden breakdowns, working with both passengers and the client to provide a technical solution to breakdown issues.
- Perform minor repairs.
- Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.

What you will need to be successful:
- Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair.
- Hold a UK driver's license.
- You have at least 72 months of experience in the elevator sector.
- You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
- You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
- You are comfortable communicating to others.
- You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team.
- You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
- Elevator experience desirable not essential.
