Field manager\\n\\nWorking in Birmingham and Oxford – the ideal candidate will be based in Leicester, Statford Upon Avon or Milton Keynes\\n\\nRole Overview\\nWould you like to join a truly international, talent driven company that values Safety, Ethics, Quality, Innovation and Employee Opportunity?\\n\\nOtis is growing and we are recruiting a talented Field Manager to take responsibility for the leadership and management\\nof repair / installation / construction projects within the midlands\\n\\nOn a typical day you will:\\n\\nSupervision of all field engineers, technicians and testers across the area, ensuring high productivity is attained and resource is allocated for maximum efficiency.\\n\\nDefine project objectives and manage installation, modernisation and repair projects – supervising the installation of equipment, monitoring the progress of job sites, and coordinating with all stakeholders on- and offsite.\\n\\nEnsure periodic service routines are completed to plan and any required repairs are quoted and presented to customers in timely fashion.\\n\\nCommunicate and coordinate with all stakeholders, including owners, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors\\n\\nEnsure that the project runs on time and on budget, monitoring teams and /or subcontractors\\n\\nWork closely with the teams to mitigate any safety, ethics and quality risks, including effectively managing government and legal requirements\\n\\nEnsure customer satisfaction, engineering support and improved profitability\\n\\nTrain and monitor the safety, quality and operations of subcontractors (as applicable), ensuring a standard service delivery to customers\\n\\nWhat you will need to be successful\\n\\nA high school education is required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 5 years)\\n\\nYou have experience with the elevator and building trades\\n\\nSafety is your top priority\\n\\nYou have excellent communication skills and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment\\n\\nYou are self-reliant, with strong computer and organizational skills and business acumen\\n\\nWhat’s In it For Me / Benefits\\n\\nYou will receive a long-term employment contract with the world market leader in a crisis-proof industry.\\n\\nWe offer you remuneration in accordance with local standards plus:\\n\\nCustomize for local benefits here including vacation, bonuses, etc.\\n\\nWe will train you intensively in the areas of technology, processes & soft skills and you can exchange ideas with experienced colleagues at any time.\\n\\nApply today to join us and build what’s next
