Investigating and following up accidents Identifying root causes, developing corrective action plans Proposing improvements to safety and environmental management systems, EHS projects Ensuring timely reporting, participating in regional and operational management meetings and providing cover for the rest of the UK EH&S team The key objectives will be to work with line management, EH&S team members and operations to provide support and direction to implement corporate and business EH&S programs and processes that will ensure compliance with local EH&S regulations and business standards.
In order to be considered you will have a proven track record of EH&S management with experience working across multiple sites and have a relevant EH&S qualification.
You will possess a hands on, flexible approach with the capability to thrive in a data hungry, fast paced and demanding corporate environment.
To be successful in this role you will: Have, experience in working on high rise elevator
installation projects, as a requirement to be considered for the role Have experience in working in escalator infrastructure projects (desirable) Have knowledge of elevator and escalator construction safe systems of work.
Have knowledge of the codes, standard and regulations associated with the lift and escalator industry as a requirement to be considered for the role.
Have knowledge of Lift and Escalator industry best practice Have a EHS related Degree or qualification as a requirement to be considered for the role Be qualified as an ISO Auditor You will be IT literate with a good knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point, Able to produce reports, training material and present findings.
Your key experience will include implementing EH&S programmes, undertaking audits, accident investigation and identifying corrective actions.
