Job Overview
Otis is seeking an Installation Engineer to safely install elevator units. The priority is passenger and stakeholder safety through quality installation.
Responsibilities
- Install new elevators with quality and efficiency.
- Work safely in accordance with Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
- Stay overnight as required.
- Liaise directly with customers on site to build good working relationships.
- Conduct inspections before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Qualified mechanic with knowledge of elevator equipment.
- Ability to apply elevator engineering principles to installation.
- Minimum 6 months experience in elevator assembly or on‑site installation.
- Good electrical and mechanical skills.
- Comfortable with plan reading and calculations.
- Appetite for technical products and new technologies.
- Appreciation for manual trades and satisfaction of seeing finished work.
