We are seeking an experienced escalator call out and repair engineer to join our Transport for London team, covering the London Underground escalator portfolio. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining this portfolio of escalator units.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out breakdown and repair work on all escalators within the portfolio to maintain continual operation.
- Work within the London Underground network, managing the portfolio of escalators.
- Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first‑time fix.
- Liaise directly with customers on site to build a good working relationship.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
- Significant experience in service, maintenance, and repair of escalators.
