Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for a service engineer role located at Northwest London Route. The role involves safely maintaining a portfolio of lifts and escalator units to ensure the safety of passengers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine service checks on a number of units across the site, recording and escalating findings to the field manager.
  • Be the face of the business, often providing updates to clients around work carried out.
  • React to sudden breakdowns, working with both passengers and the client to provide a technical solution to breakdown issues.
  • Perform minor repairs.

Qualifications

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair.
  • Hold a driver’s licence and be within a 1-hour commute of Northwest London.
  • Have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
  • Have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
  • Be a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
  • Be comfortable communicating to others.
  • Be curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
  • Be comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
