This next chapter in our journey has opened the exciting Senior Director position to lead our EMEA Digital Technology team, reporting to the Vice President, Global Infrastructure and Operations.

We are looking for a talented and inspiring leader to help us deliver on our strategic objectives and day-to-day delivery for the provision of Infrastructure services including Network, Workplace, Server, Storage and back up services.

What does a typical day look like?

  • Leading by example regarding our Otis Absolutes (Safety, Ethics & Quality) and role modelling our Leadership Behaviors
  • Hiring, motivating, and developing a large team, creating a high-performing culture; promoting inclusion, engagement & talent development
  • Maintaining enterprise focus and developing strategies, roadmaps and investment plans to align with and support critical business objectives
  • Providing lifecycle management of all infrastructure services
  • Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the organization's data and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Proactively driving service improvements and implementing changes to deliver operational excellence
  • Managing capacity to meet service levels and maintaining a rolling capacity plan that reflects current and future business needs
  • Leading a program of complex projects that are executed to plan, in a timely manner and to budget
  • Developing and overseeing crisis management and business continuity plans to ensure rapid recovery from disruptions
  • Working with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of quality services and products, monitoring performance and ROI

What will help you in this role?

  • Extensive experience within a technical IT Infrastructure leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of key IT security practices and protocols
  • Being an inspiring leader with an inclusive and collaborative style, able to successfully manage diverse teams across multiple countries
  • Proven background establishing key IT supplier relationships; recent experience improving access to cloud-based services, leveraging the internet and increasing cost efficiencies
  • Working knowledge of SD WAN technologies, including Cisco SDWAN
  • Effective communication and relationship building skills
  • A strategic mindset blended with a tactical, hands-on approach
  • Proven organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects, programs and objectives
  • Demonstrable experience influencing and leading change
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional problem solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Well versed at operating effectively in large matrix organisations, with the ability to drive cross functional, indirect team collaboration
  • A degree in computer science or related field
  • Language – English fluency is essential
