Resident Lift Service Engineer – Resident Site in London
Location: Client based, in London.
Role Overview

Otis are currently seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join our London team.
As a qualified Lift Engineer you will be working on site for a high profile, prestigious client in London and expected to carry out 100% of the maintenance and service within your patch as well as any minor repairs
On a typical day you will:
- Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units on site during the nights
- Work within your defined geographical area managing the portfolio of elevators within it
- Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix
- Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation
- Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship
What you will need to be successful.
- Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance or repairs or significant experience in the service and maintenance of Lifts.
- You must be an experienced Engineer with in-depth knowledge of a variety of different brands of equipment
- Flexibility is important, as night working and overtime maybe required. Whilst you must be a team player it is essential that you can also work on your own initiative
- Hold a drivers license
- You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
- You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority
- You are comfortable communicating to others
- You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team
- You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
