We’re seeking a Modernisation Project Manager, based in and around the London area, who’s ready to help us deliver on our commitments today, plan our strategy for the future and leave their fingerprints on the organization for years to come.
Responsibilities
- Developing a specific delivery plan for each managed site and focus the Otis team, which includes indirect reports and subcontractors, to achieve the project goals.
- Generating contract plans in MS Project and liaise with the Project Controls Lead to enable overall project upgrades to be generated.
- Regularly monitor and review progress against plan and if necessary, take action to mitigate delays and claims and bring the programme back on track.
- Be the customer’s focal point for all correspondence, and the Otis representative at all mid and high-level meetings.
Requirements
- Strong project management experience ideally within the lift/construction industry.
- Experience with Modernisation or large scale repair projects would be highly desirable.
- Good IT knowledge and familiar with various project management systems such as MS Projects.
- Great communication skills, able to work with internal and external customers/stakeholders.
