Role Overview
As a Modernisation Engineer, you will support the design, installation, and commissioning of lift systems, ensuring quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Work on elevators with quality and efficiency.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
- Stay away overnight as and when required.
- Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
- Conduct inspection before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Qualified mechanic with knowledge of elevator equipment.
- Apply elevator engineering principles to installation.
- Hold NVQ3 in elevators.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Good electrical and mechanical skills.
- Comfortable with plan reading and calculations.
- Appetite for technical products and new technologies.
- Appreciation for manual trades and satisfaction from finished work.
