Otis is seeking a Lift Tester to support the North West & Central team. The role requires a qualified NVQ4 or equivalent, based in Manchester or Liverpool, with experience in test and commissioning of new installations and Modernisation projects. Your primary focus will be ensuring the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for lift problems and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with other branches to diagnose highly complex issues.
- Provide coaching and development to colleagues on technical matters.
Qualifications
- NVQ4 or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in test and commissioning of new installations and Modernisation projects.
- Driver’s licence.
- Strong electrical engineering skills.
- Committed professional with safety as a priority.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Proficient in using electronic and digital tools.
