Role Overview

Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for our London-based entity. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety of passengers and stakeholders by maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

On a typical day you will:

  • Carry out 100% of the scheduled elevator maintenance and service visits within your territory.
  • Manage the portfolio of elevators within your defined geographical area.
  • Respond proactively to breakdowns, aiming for first-time fixes.
  • Perform minor repairs to ensure continuous operation.
  • Liaise directly with customers on-site to build good relationships.

What you will need to be successful:

  • NVQ Level 3 and/or 4 in lift service, maintenance, or installation.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the elevator sector.
  • Strong skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
  • A committed professional attitude with safety as a priority.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Curious, adaptable, and capable of working independently or in a team.
  • Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
