Lift Installation Engineer
Role Overview

Otis is growing and is looking for an installation mechanic for our location in Guernsey. Your priority will be to ensure the safety of passengers and stakeholders by safely installing a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.
On a typical day you will:
- Install new elevators with quality and efficiency
- Work safely in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines
- Stay overnight as required
- Build good relationships with customers on site
- Conduct inspections before and after installation to ensure safety and quality standards
What you will need to be successful
- Qualified mechanic with knowledge of elevator equipment and installation principles
- Qualified to install elevators to your country\’s standards
- Driver\’s license
- At least 6 months of experience in elevator installation or related site work
- Good electrical and mechanical skills
- Ability to read plans and perform calculations
- Interest in technical products and new technologies
