Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working alongside the Project Managers, you, the Field Manager will be responsible for preparation and execution of the site element of the project, on one or more sites.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Managing the field engineering team and people on site ensuring that quality and safety standards are not compromised.
- Work with the Project and Construction Managers to ensure that the site execution plans, methods and tooling, are fully developed and all resources are allocated to achieve the project deliverables.
- Ensure the 3 key absolutes of Safety, Ethics and Financial Control are maintained at all times.
- Managing projects on time, within budget and in accordance with the contract scope.
- Regularly monitor and review progress against plan (both financial and project) and if necessary take action to mitigate delays and claims and bring the programme back on track.

Skills/Experience Required:
- Strong experience of working as an Escalator Engineer, Field Manager or Construction Manager.
- Experience in the Lift Industry or Construction industry.
- Experience managing teams of engineers.
- Good planning, problem solving and communication skills.
- An understanding of the importance of delivering excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts depending on workload/requirements.
