Otis is growing and we are recruiting a Environmental Health & Safety Manager based in London, and reporting to the EHS Director. The main goal of the role is to drive forwards Environmental, Health & safety across the London area as well as leading the UK based tea
Daily responsibilities:
- Implementing EHS strategies, in order to achieve goals and injury reduction targets.
- To provide technical and EHS management advice, support and guidance to managers and employees on all matters relating to Environmental, Health & Safety issues, programs and systems.
- Manage and be accountable for specific EHS projects to ensure compliance with legislations within the business.
- Support management in the investigation of all accidents including serious accidents, identifying root causes of accidents and develop corrective action plans.
- Provide coaching, mentorship and leadership to the UK team

What we are looking for:
- You’ll hold a EHS professional qualification such as NEBOSH, certificate or diploma as well as Environmental qualifications including IEMA Cert or equivalent.
- Hold an IOSH membership would be desirable.
- Able to perform ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 audits
- Have a solid understanding of the lift/construction industry.
- Current and up to date on EHSQ practices and legislations.
