Lift Service Engineer – Norfolk Region

Location: 19 Schooner Park, Crossways Business Park, DA2 6NW, Dartford, Kent, United Kingdom.

Role Overview

As a Lift Service Engineer, you will ensure the safety of passengers by maintaining a portfolio of lifts and escalator units within your defined territory.

You will respond quickly to breakdowns, carry out maintenance and minor repairs, and build good relationships with customers on site.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits in your territory.
  • Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming for first‑time fix.
  • Carry out minor repairs to keep lifts operational.
  • Liaise directly with customers while on site to build a good working relationship.

Qualifications

  • Hold an NVQ level 3 in service, maintenance or repair.
  • Have a driver’s licence and live within 1 hour of Norfolk / Norwich.
  • Have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
  • Possess good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
  • Be a committed professional with safety as your priority.
  • Be comfortable communicating with others and working alone or in a team.
  • Be comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
