Role Overview

Otis is growing, and we are recruiting a talented new Equipment Project Manager to oversee volume installation/construction projects within South East England, reporting to the Operations Manager.

On a typical day you will:

  • Define project objectives and manage installation projects—supervising equipment installation, monitoring job site progress, and coordinating with all stakeholders on- and offsite.
  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders including owners, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, monitoring teams and subcontractors.
  • Work closely with the project team to mitigate safety, ethics, and quality risks, ensuring compliance with government and legal requirements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, provide engineering support, and improve profitability.
  • Train and monitor safety, quality, and operations of subcontractors, ensuring a standard of service delivery.

What you will need to be successful

  • BSc/BEng degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 5 years).
  • Experience with elevators and building trades.
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented, dynamic environment.
  • Self-reliant with strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and business acumen.
