Position: Lift Engineering Apprentice, Service – Inner West London

What can I expect?
At OTIS, we offer one of the most comprehensive Apprenticeship schemes within the lift industry.
As an engineer apprentice, you\’ll work within a supportive team, undertaking on-the-job and classroom-based learning to obtain an NVQ3 qualification, essential for a career as a Lift and Escalator Engineer.
Your training will be supported by OTIS and our training partner, who will be the apprenticeship provider.
Once qualified as a Service Lift Engineer, you\’ll perform routine service visits, carry out repairs, diagnose electrical and mechanical problems, and keep customers informed about their equipment.
Who are we looking for?
We seek aspiring engineers with strong communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive mindset who can demonstrate:
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C/4 and above, including Maths, English, and a STEM subject.
- A willingness to complete the required training throughout the Apprenticeship.
Salary:
- Year 1: £15,709
- Year 2: £20,948
- Year 3: £28,800
