Role Overview

Otis is growing and we are recruiting a talented Field Manager to take responsibility for the leadership and management
of repair / installation / construction projects within the midlands
On a typical day you will:
Supervision of all field engineers, technicians and testers across the area, ensuring high productivity is attained and resource is allocated for maximum efficiency.
Define project objectives and manage installation, modernisation and repair projects – supervising the installation of equipment, monitoring the progress of job sites, and coordinating with all stakeholders on- and offsite.
Ensure periodic service routines are completed to plan and any required repairs are quoted and presented to customers in timely fashion.
Communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders, including owners, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors
Ensure that the project runs on time and on budget, monitoring teams and /or subcontractors
Work closely with the teams to mitigate any safety, ethics and quality risks, including effectively managing government and legal requirements
Ensure customer satisfaction, engineering support and improved profitability
Train and monitor the safety, quality and operations of subcontractors (as applicable), ensuring a standard service delivery to customers
What you will need to be successful
A high school education is required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 5 years)
You have experience with the elevator and building trades
Safety is your top priority
You have excellent communication skills and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
You are self-reliant, with strong computer and organizational skills and business acumen
