We are seeking an experienced EU/UK based Azure Local Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, delivery, implementation, migration, and optimization of Azure Local (formerly Azure Stack HCI) solutions within an Operational Technology (OT) environment. The role will be responsible for managing projects that integrate Azure Local infrastructure with OT systems, industrial environments, manufacturing platforms, edge computing solutions, and critical operational services. Acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical engineering teams, site operations and IT, the successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, securely, and in alignment with operational and business requirements.
A key focus of this role is the end-to-end migration of applications and infrastructure from legacy platforms (VMware) to Azure Local, including coordination of activities during critical operational windows. The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the successful deployment of scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing hybrid cloud solutions that support operational and business objectives. This position requires strong project management expertise combined with a solid understanding of Azure Local, hybrid infrastructure, edge computing, Operational Technology (OT) environments, and OT cybersecurity.
