A bit about the role…
We are a London-based comms agency on the hunt for a talented and hard-working middleweight Designer to join our multi-disciplined and growing team.
As a Middleweight Designer at Otherway you must have a good ability to create ideas-based work, and be confident in organising this to present to the wider team.
Our clients range from start-ups to established global brands across a broad range of categories, and our work varies across design, digital and advertising.
Experience working closely with clients, strong communication and presenting skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic / Creative Thinking - championing the art of thinking sideways with every design idea.
Challenging convention and being unafraid to suggest ideas that feel like wildcards.
Be brave and not too precious.
- Be confident presenting, Selling work, and dealing with feedback - talk about your ideas and the work with clarity and self-belief.
- Design Skill + Craft - Uphold high standards in design craft. Have a strong eye for detail and very good understanding of type and layout.
- Organisation + Project Management - work alongside the rest of your project team to ensure you have a good understanding of deliverables and the work needed for key meetings.
- Key Skills
- Great experience and confidence working across print and digital
- You have a good understanding of figma and the adobe creative suite
- Experience using After Effects or Premier a bonus (not essential!)
- Good knowledge of UX principles
- Highly creative with a good eye for detail
- A passion for design and craft
- Strong knowledge of typography
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Initiative – able to work well independently, as well as within a team
- Collaboration – working with multiple teams and partners
