OTG is a global talent management agency. We launched our talent division of the business in 2021 and are growing quickly in the UK and USA. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Finance Assistant to support our finance function. This remote role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated and has experience in financial administration, credit control, and invoicing. You will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of our day-to-day finance activities, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Our Finance Assistant will work closely with our Finance Manager to provide best-in-class accounting support to our UK and US roster. The role reports to our Finance Manager.
- Location: Remote (UK-based applicants only)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day (20 hours per week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Type: Part-Time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Assist with expense claims processing.
- Reconcile bank transactions and maintain accurate cash flow tracking.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems (digital).
- Assist with end-of-month payment processes, including scheduling communications, updating financial records, and ensuring all supporting documentation is accurately prepared and submitted.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting assistant role (minimum 1 year).
- Knowledge of UK financial procedures and terminology.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup.
- Experience working remotely.
- Knowledge of payroll administration or bookkeeping.
- AAT (or similar) qualification or studying towards a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential).
