Job Vacancy for Qualified Bench Joiner / Workshop Manager
Location: Oswestry, Shropshire
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Salary: Negotiable, based on experience
We are a well-established joinery business based in Oswestry for thirty years and are looking for a qualified, experienced bench joiner to take a leading role in running our joinery workshop.
This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who takes pride in high‑quality craftsmanship and is confident managing day‑to‑day workshop operations.
The Role
- Bench joinery work including windows, doors, and bespoke joinery;
- Running the workshop on a daily basis;
- Managing workflow, materials, and quality control; and
- Ensuring health & safety standards are met.
About You
- Time-served / fully qualified bench joiner
- Strong background in traditional and bespoke joinery
- Able to read and work from technical drawings
- Organised, reliable, and capable of working independently
- Confident taking responsibility for workshop operations
- High attention to detail and quality
